About Our Company

History

U.S. Windshield Repair has operated in Orange, California since 1990. Originally a mobile repair service, the business expanded by manufacturing a complete line of windshield repair products. On 11 March 2003, the U.S. Patent Office issued a patent to the owner of U.S. Windshield Repair, William Penrod, for the design of the windshield repair tools he developed. Mr. Penrod was a charter member of the National Windshield Repair Association and served on its board of directors. He also has been a member of the National Glass Association serving on their National Windshield Repair Committee.

U.S. Windshield Repair consistently raises the industry standard by developing new tools and repair techniques that provide better repairs as well as the ability to repair damage that was previously unrepairable. Continuing to operate our windshield repair service keeps us in touch with actual working conditions and the changing needs of today's technicians. That knowledge is then used to design and manufacture unique products to satisfy those specific needs.
